Military
Portrait Commissions
Our
aim here at Military Portraits is to offer the military reenactor
or anyone with an interest in military history, a traditional
oil portrait, painted in the uniform of their choice from
their own photographs. We also use books, internet, info supplied
by the client, etc for uniform and insignia reference. The
choice of era, uniform, decorations etc is unlimited as long
as there is enough reference to work from.
We
are also involved in painting current or ex sevicemen or women
who wish to have themselves portrayed in their specific uniform.
Currently
a standard unframed head and shoulders only portrait as shown
in the photo opposite measuring 12 x 16 inches costs £450
including shipping to your home (with in the UK only).
There
are no extra charges and final payment is due only when the
client is fully happy with the portrait. All work is painted
using good clear quality photos sent by the client.
We
welcome
any enquiries about commissions, there's no obligation, just
send us an e-mail with what you have in mind and we'll reply
with further details.
Larger
paintings or paintings with more detailed backgrounds can
also be discussed.
