Military
Portrait Commissions
My
aim here at Military Portraits.co.uk is to offer the military
re-enactor or anyone with an interest in military history,
a traditional oil portrait, painted in the uniform of your
choice from your own photographs. I also use books, the internet,
info supplied by the client, etc for uniform and insignia
reference. The
choice of era, uniform, decorations etc is unlimited as long
as there is good reference to work from.
I
am also involved in painting current or ex sevicemen or women
who wish to have themselves portrayed in their specific uniform.
Currently
a standard unframed head and shoulders only portrait as shown
in the photo opposite measuring 12 x 16 inches costs £450
including shipping to your home (with in the UK only).
There
are no extra or hidden charges and final payment is due only
when the client is fully happy with the portrait. I ask for
part payment of the total cost up front as a non returnable
deposist which is deducted from the final price. All work
is painted using good clear quality photos sent by the client.
We

Larger
paintings or paintings with more detailed backgrounds can
also be discussed.

"Lay
away" payment
If
you wish to pay for your painting in installments, we can
complete your work over a longer period of time. Payment
can be split into four installments and the painting will
be finished and shipped once we have received the final
payment. We will keep you updated with photos on how the
work is progressing.
